A member of AHP's Banking & Finance practice, Ismail represents both domestic and international financial institutions, borrowers/project companies and sponsors on corporate and government syndication and bilateral financings, project financings and infrastructure projects. In addition, he has advised and represented clients in relation to a number of structured finance and insolvency/debt-restructuring matters.
With an undergraduate degree in law from the Universitas Padjajaran (2011), he has since dived into professional career and involved in various projects as well as transactions in the field of banking and finance and financial technology.

• Currently advising one of Indonesia's Foreign Investment Company on online tax platform in Indonesia;
• Currently advising payment gateway service provider from United States of America to establish a payment gateway company in Indonesia;
• Currently advising one of Singapore Based Company on the establishment of global switching company on Indonesian law related matters;
• Providing ongoing legal advisory services to peer to peer lending provider from China to set up a company and peer to peer lending activity in Indonesia. Our role includes preparing agreement between the provider and the lender, credit agreement between the lender and the borrower, terms of use of the application, privacy and cookie policy. • Acting as Indonesian legal counsel for PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) on proposed merger with PT Bank Sumitomo Mitsui Indonesia (SMBCI)
• Represented PT Royal Lestari Utama in relation to a pioneering corporate sustainability bond in the amount of US$95 million. The corporate green bond issuance (23 February 2018) was the first of its kind in Asia;
• Represented PT Multi Kusuma Cemerlang in obtaining financing from prominent France based bank;
• Represented PT PSN VI Indonesia (subsidiary of PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara, a satellite operator company, which one of its kind in Indonesia) in obtaining financing from Export Development Canada to finance the manufacture of PSN-VI satellite;
• Acting as HSBC counsel on acquisition financing of one of the largest fitness centre in Asia;
• Represented MUFG, Jakarta Branch on derivative transaction side in relation to financing of building development in Jakarta;
• Represented one of the largest capital venture company in several derivative transactions with local and foreign banks
• Acted as the borrower counsel in relation to the factoring scheme transaction with one of the largest local bank in Indonesia;
