It has been 45 years since the Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™ was created.

The CDA® is a credential that early childhood educators can earn to demonstrate certain competencies and, in turn, can help them advance their careers. The Child Development Associate credential is carefully administered to ensure that those who earn it know how to put important ECE understandings into practice. Our CDA educators know how to nurture the emotional, physical, intellectual and social development of children.

INE has a great CCIE Data Center v2 Bundle. I am currently halfway through it, and it is great learning material. Pay close attention in the beginning of each course. The instructor will usually give a list of additional documentation. INE’s CCIE Routing & Switching v5 Workbook is the definitive resource for mastering the technologies covered on the CCIE lab exam. The workbook follows a structured design that covers not only the necessary topic domains, but also lab strategy and other key test-taking skills.

With over 800,000 CDA's issued to date the credential is nationally and now globally recognized in Africa, UAE and China.

CDA® RENEWAL AMNESTY PROGRAM

Beginning Jan. 1, 2020, the Council will be celebrating 45 years of the CDA®! To celebrate, the Council will offer a limited-time CDA® Renewal Amnesty Program. This program will allow anyone with a CDA® credential expiration date as far back as January 1, 2010, an opportunity to complete the renewal process and make their credential active again.

GET INVOLVED WITH 2020 FEASIBILITY STUDY

The Council for Professional Recognition (CFPR) and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) are working together to conduct a feasibility study to assess support for the development of a national competency-based lead teacher certification for early childhood educators. The certification would give each U.S. state a consistent, foundational requirement for ECE lead teachers.
