Hi, I recently acquired one of these and was initially using it with an older version of MAME (0.119 I think) I had some trouble enabling a Light-gun as input (turns out all I had to do was un-tick 'Mouse input' and it sort of worked after that.
After I upgraded to 0.145 it will not let me enable Light-gun support at all. The tickbox is constantly greyed out whatever I tick/untick and 'Joystick input' is always ticked and greyed out by default, even though I never selected it or did anything with that option. I don't really want to go back to the older MAME as some of the ROMS I have run far better on the newer version, whereas its like playing them in slow motion on the older one.
On Time crisis 1 the buttons on the Lightgun are useable (If you pull the trigger it fires, side buttons can be used to come out from cover) but the crosshair just stays still and wont follow any movement from the light-gun.
